About Me
Hi, I’m Maryn— a licensed mental health counselor and founder of Syntropy Counseling. My approach to therapy is direct, collaborative, and rooted in compassionate care. I am passionate about making space for the parts of your story that don’t fit neatly into a diagnosis or checklist. As an integrative therapist, I use a blend of different evidence-based techniques to create a treatment plan that works for you and your goals.
What is Syntropy?
Entropy describes the natural pull toward disorder. Syntropy is its counterpart — the pull toward coherence, growth, and order. It's what happens when a nervous system finally has room to regulate, when a body and a story stop being at odds.
That's the work I do with clients and how I organize my practice: to help you build a stronger, more coherent relationship with yourself, bring calm to chaos, and integrate different parts of yourself to create organized harmony.
A Different Type of Care
My practice is intentionally private-pay, which means our work together is shaped by what you actually need — not by what an insurance company will approve.
Sessions are available via telehealth in Washington State. I provide superbills for clients who want to seek out-of-network reimbursement, and every new client starts with a free 15-minute consultation.
